The Defence Health Maintenance Limited (DHML) has appealed to government authorities for consistent release of funds to enhance medical services for military veterans. Officials said irregular disbursement had hindered access to quality healthcare for retired service members.

Managing Director Dr. Adeniyi Awopeju stressed that steady funding would allow the agency to provide comprehensive treatment, including specialized care for veterans with long-term health needs. He emphasized that retired personnel deserve quality support for their sacrifices to the nation.
