National Organising Secretary of the party, Sulaiman Mohammad Argungu, made this known on Wednesday during a briefing with journalists at the APC headquarters in Abuja.

He explained that Tinubu’s endorsement by key party organs, including the National Working Committee, the Progressives Governors Forum led by Governor Hope Uzodinma, and the leadership of the National Assembly under Senator Godswill Akpabio, was a recognition of what he described as the president’s strong performance so far.

Argungu, however, emphasized that the APC will uphold its democratic traditions and allow a level playing field for any aspirant who wishes to challenge Tinubu during the party primaries.
